ABOUT OUR CHARGES (2011/12 Academic Year)

You will need to pay:

• Your rent on the agreed dates
• £250 refundable deposit
• £100 instalment charge if you take out the 10 month payment plan

Included in your rent:

Utilities - All utility bills are included in rental payments and are subject to the Landlord's Fair Usage Policy (see the tenancy documentation for further explanation).
Internet - We provide Cablecom internet throughout Cambridge House, offering a 4MB speed as standard, included in the price of the room. For more information on Cablecom please visit www.cablecomnetworking.co.uk.

What is an instalment?

Instead of paying all the rent due at the start of the year you can pay in three instalments, at the start of each term or by ten instalments at the start of each of the first ten months of the tenancy. If you split the annual rent into 10 equal, monthly instalments, you will need to pay a charge of £100 to cover our increased administration costs spread over the instalments and paid with your rent.

Changes to your instalment plan

After you’ve signed your tenancy agreement, should we agree to make any changes to your instalment plan, you will incur a £50.00 administration fee, payable in advance.

Room Moves

After you’ve signed your tenancy agreement, should we agree to you moving to a different room (subject to a room being available), you will incur a £50.00 administration fee, payable in advance.

Credit card charge

If you pay by credit card, a transaction charge will be added. Normally, payments by debit card attract no transaction charge
